Water Department

Water Tower

Waterloo's water hardness is 24 grains.

The Waterloo Water Utility is composed of three operating wells, one reservoirs, and one elevated tower.

Water costs in many neighboring communities are higher than those charged in Waterloo because community-owned utilities do not operate to make a profit, you pay only for the cost of service. This allows us to provide highly competitive water rates.

Meters are read on the last day of the month.  Bills are mailed on the 8th and due on the 28th of every month.  If the 28th falls on the weekend or holiday, payment will be due the following day.

Water and Fire Protection Rate Tariffs are on file at the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin.

 Water Quality

The Waterloo Water Utility routinely monitors the city’s drinking water according to Federal and State regulations. Our constant goal is to provide you with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water. We want you to understand the efforts we make to continually improve the water treatment process and protect our water resources. We are committed to ensuring the quality of your water.
